A place in the New Cluster!

STI College Balayan confronted a different challenge in the recently concluded Tagisan ng Talino (TNT) 2015 as a new member of Cluster 3 held at STI Las Pinas, Feb.12.

The cluster included eight competing STI schools around Metro Manila and were said to be tough contenders in the cluster. Despite the fact that STI College Balayan TNT representatives failed to defend their last year’s championship titles from their previous Cluster, they were able to prove their place in the new Cluster by winning in almost all of the categories in the competition and were very grateful for it.

“INTO Programming” Computer Programming competition - Ericson Balladares, 3rd yr BSIT placed 1st with his coach, Mrs. Maria Richelle Abiad

“App and Running” Mobile Application Development competition - Marvin Hernandez, 4th yr BSIT and Joseph Olea, 2nd yr ITP placed 2nd with their coach, Mr Norman Caraig

“Stand up and Deliver” Impromptu Speaking competition - Mark Jayson M. Relacion, 2nd yr BSBM won 2nd Runner Up and coached by Ms. Terranya Tiamson, 

“Essay Does It!” Essay writing competition - Princess Cornejo 2nd yr BSIT won 3rd Runner Up w coached by Mrs. Casiana Enconado. 

“Worth the Wisk!” Cake Decorating competition - Frank Baker, 4th yr BSHRM won 2nd Runner Up 

“All in Place” Table Setting competition - Elisha Mae A. EscaƱo, Nikka Alyssa Marie A. Abiad and Ivy Joy V. Alvizo, all 4th BSHRM guided by their coach Miss Aiza Digno won 2nd Runner Up

“Shutter’s Best” Photography competition represented by Arron Paul Ragel, 3rd yr BSBM with coach Mr. Norman Caraig ranked 5th out of 53 entries from all the STI Schools nationwide.

“Music for Reel” Video Making contest represented by the team of Lovelin Mortel, Jomar Selim, Jeremiah Estrada and their coach Engr. Oliver Noriega ranked 5th out of 54 entries from all the STI Schools nationwide.

The team of STI College Balayan was new in the cluster but surely they were able to leave a mark and impressed the cluster.
