STI College Balayan, A benchmark for Region 4A

In high-regards to our school, STI College Balayan’s strict compliance to the standards set by the Technological Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the wholeness of its facilities was declared the benchmark in Region 4A especially for the HRS program.

TESDA Auditors Mr. Francisco Reyes, Ms. Araceli Corpuz and Ms. Elenita Manzano explicitly stated their admiration to our school during the compliance audit last November 9, 2011 in the presence of our President Mrs. Ellen Christy A. Dimaano, Academic Head Engr. Oliver Noriega and Registrar Ms. Marilyn Guno. The audit was done annually to determine whether the institution is continuously complying with the TESDA’s requirements for each registered programs and inspected not only the facilities but also the documents used in delivering the programs under their training regulations. They commended our school’s well maintained facilities, sufficient tools and equipments, updated documents, used of licensed softwares, manifestations of the Competency-Based Training (CBT) approach in delivering training to our students and most importantly to our competent and certified trainers who are mostly accredited TESDA Assessors.

In this light, it will not be a question why our school was also designated as the assessment center for several qualifications for the entire province of Batangas which includes Computer Hardware Servicing NCII, Bread and Pastry Production NCII, Housekeeping NCII, Bartending NCII, Commercial Cooking NCII, Food and Beverage Services NCII and Programming NCIV.

Our school, STI College Balayan is also the domicile of accredited assessors like Engr. Jay Ilagan for Computer Hardware Servicing NCII, Mr. Victoriano B. Perez III for Computer Hardware Servicing NCII and 3D Animation NCIII, Mr. Ronaldo S. Casiserano for Computer Hardware Servicing NCII and Bookkeeping NCII, Mr. Norman Caraig for 2D Animation NCIII, Mr. Eddie Jose Medrano for Commercial Cooking NCII and Food and Beverage Services NCIII and Ms. Terranya M. Tiamson for Computer Programming NCIV.
