STI
Balayan athletes once again brought honor from the recently concluded Private
Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) event held at the University of Batangas,
Nov.28-Dec1, 2013.
Volleyball team with the first PRISAA bronze |
It has always been the pride of STI Balayan to snatch the gold from the PRISAA chess category but the team went more triumphant when they won the first bronze medal in volleyball girls division. It has been the dream of every volleyball team who competed at the PRISAA to win since 2007 and this year’s team has prepared months for the competition. During the training, Captain Ball Cheenee de Leon remarked that they will not graduate without giving a medal to the school and she has proved her statement. The athletes also commended their coaches who were with them all throughout and thanked the administration for their support.
