From business simulations to balancing leadership roles as an SK Chairman

From business simulations to balancing leadership roles as an SK Chairman, Sherben M. Alday learned the value of perseverance, adaptability, and teamwork at STI Balayan.

Now a Management Trainee at JAg Wine Singapore, he credits his strong academic foundation and the support of his mentors at STI for preparing him to succeed in the competitive world of business and hospitality.

From helping his community to building his career, John Lester D. Aquino embodies what it means to grow with purpose.

A proud BS Computer Engineering Class of 2022 graduate, Lester now works as an Application Support Specialist at MA Financial Group Operations (Manila) Inc.

His most meaningful experiences at STI came from serving through outreach programs and donation drives—moments that taught him compassion, leadership, and the true value of giving back.

STI also equipped him with the technical foundation and people skills that set him apart in the workplace. Even when the pandemic challenged his thesis, internet access, and motivation, he pushed through with perseverance and adaptability.

Lester’s journey is a reminder that challenges become easier when shared, and success grows through collaboration. ๐Ÿ’™
